Takara Pony Project
Tue Mar 28, 2017 7:24 pm
So for at least the past two years, I have been SLOWLY working on creating a 3D Printed Takara. I've been very lazy lately so it hasn't made much progress, but here are some pictures of my journey XD

All of my 3D printed Takaras
All of these models were created and printed by me

Model of a Sitting Takara

After being printed

After being cleaned, and primed for painting.

Simple sitting Takara Ponies

Haired 3D Printed Takara Approx 2 inches tall. She does not move, but her head is a separate piece.

Before she was finished.

Here she is with another test Takara, closer to actual size.

Version 2, she also does not move...have to fix that XD

3D Printed Takara Pendants

3D printed Takara Parts. Now that I own one I have a better idea of how they go together. So in the future hopefully I can get one closer to completion!

These are so cool! I was thinking that a cool project after Genie would be to make repros of Takaras - but then you'd have to sacrifice a Takara pony to make the mold! I eagerly await news of the latest 3D print of these lovely ladies!
