Sweet Treat Sisters - pose?
Mon Apr 20, 2020 10:58 am
I have an excel database with all my ponies and my wish list. Amongst other info, I also list a pony's pose. As far as I know, for the HQG1C ponies existing molds are used and sometimes head and body of two different poses are combined. But what combination was used for the Sweet Treat Sisters? There weren't any rearing baby ponies I think?

There wasn't ever any g1 baby in a rearing pose. The mold was made using Baby Bouncy's head and a fakie ponies body. The body was probably a scaled down Truly? Or maybe they had a rearing baby mold, and never used it? The side of Baby Sundance's box, shows her in the exact rearing pose, so leads me to believe they had one and it was shelved. Hope that helps!

Very insightful, thank you Clipper! I'll just add her add her as Fakie body / Baby Bouncy head then. Well, it would be good thought if you brought to life the rearing baby pony Hasbro intended to make but shelved at some point.

Speaking of the baby pony rearing pose - are there plans for other babies in the rearing pose?

I believe we are going to make others in that pose, but right now we have decided to move forward and introduce other types.
In addition to the Sweet Treat Sisters, there's Lucky Star and also one of the intergalactic babies in the rearing baby pose.
